The TO DO List
Well, if you want to know why we’re insane, here’s why. We’ve got a ridiculous task list. And my husband and I continue to just pile it on! Here’s just a sample (it certainly doesn’t include everything!!):
-Sell a house in 1 month
-Write another screenplay in 2-4 weeks
-Direct another summer-long youth program at church, 8-10 weeks, starting in June
-Produce our animated short film (I’ll tell you the name later!)
-Start a high school by this fall at our church (yes, it’s probably happening)
-Create our two businesses (Synergy / TCS) to be self-sustaining by this fall
-Organize & facilitate PodCampAZ - It’s the weekend of November 3rd, so I’ve got time!
-Blog (why do I forsake it so?!)
-Travel with a bunch of teenagers to cities in Arizona and Californa & Mexico (but Mexico is with a bunch of 20-somethings)
-Make sure the dog looses weight & gets an x-ray on the paw
-Podcast, Podcast, Podcast
-Read, Read, Read
-Write, Write, Write
Well, off to another event! Pray for us!

Two weekends ago, my dog ate a milk chocolate bunny that someone had given us for Easter. We had guests over that weekend, and one of them tackled Max to try to get it away from him. Max was not having that. He quickly bit the guy’s hand. It was quick and it was swift. I might have done the same thing if someone tackled me from behind while I was eating chocolate. [Don't worry, we apologized profusely to the guy!] Later I took Max to emergency because the “home remedy” of giving him salt to expel his stomach contents did not work. I re-hashed the story to them and $260 and 2 x-rays later, the emergency vet said he would be fine, and they did nothing for him. The next evening, Brent and I came home from work to a notice on our door. The city has been notified of a bite incident. Thank you emergency vet for notifying them. Thank goodness the officer that finally met up with us was very kind and understanding. However, he informed us that Max would be on ‘quarantine’ for 10 days. This means Max cannot go for walks. He must remain inside or be in the back yard. He’s on lock-down. Poor doggie. But Max is coping by taking long, long naps and by begging for snacks. Nice doggie.
