I’ve written and directed a fair share of dinner theater plays that have raised tens of thousands of dollars for non profits. (Not sure why!! They’re silly!!) The ‘dinner and a show’ format is a TON of hard work to pull off. You need lots of committed people too. But the pay off can be huge not only in raising funds, but in getting the word out to your community about your local (or international!) not-for-profit. Fundraising Frenzy...

We are all friends of non-profits. (I hope!) Without them, man this planet would be pretty ugly. Non-profits can always use our help to make this a beautiful world. (Primarily financial in nature of course…) My husband and I have done a lot of fundraising in our lifetimes to help our favorite non-profits. Chimp Charlie dies at 52 despite smoking...

Why do videos like these (i.e. smoking chimps) make me cry with laughter? I suppose I should have a moment of silence since Charlie did pass away today.
